As Rocksteady prepares to launch its final action game in Batman Arkham series titled Batman: Arkham Knight that will unleash one of Batman's most dangerous enemies yet, the launch trailer for the game has predicted the death of Batman.
The trailer starts with the lines, "For the hero, the only true conclusion is death." It goes on to show the chaotic but bright side of Gotham City, where despite various villains spewing venom and threatening to destroy the city, there is the Caped Crusader who takes it on him to protect the city.
The trailer definitely packs a punch, shows us the action and the line-up of characters appearing in the game, including the playable Batmobile. The two-minute video ends with the narrator's closing words that speak of Batman's death: "This is how the Batman died."
Speculations on the game developer killing off the protagonist cannot be ignored, since this is the last of the Batman Arkham series. The game will have Nightwing, Robin and Catwoman in the game.
