Batgirl will be swinging to action as a playable character for lucky players buying the Season Pass for Rocksteady Studios' upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight, according to the post from the company on the community page.
While the company accepted that it is not yet ready to share all the details of the Season Pass, it will be doing it eventually. The company also said, "We'll be building more narrative, more missions, more challenges and more characters and vehicles that we want players to experience, even though they didn't fit into the storyline of Batman: Arkham Knight."
The post also unveiled that new poster with Batgirl ready for action holding a batarang and it detailed some exciting story missions:
Batgirl: A Matter of Family: It will have a new location where players get to play as Batgirl for the first time in Arkham series.
The Season of Infamy: Players will be playing as Batman that will also have some of the "legendary super-villain" invading Gotham City, it will consist of new story arcs, missions and gameplay features.
Gotham City Stories: Players will get to play as Batman's allies like Robin in these missions that will include and extend to before and after the events in Batman: Arkham Knight.
The game is expected to include the drivable Batmobile that can also be raced on themed tracks, challenge maps, variety of character skins, story missions and additional villains.
However, the price for the Season Pass has been termed "pricey" by many gaming sites. It will be priced at $39.99. Players buying the Digital Premium Edition of the Arkham Knight will be getting the game alongside the Season Pass.
Batman: Arkham Knight will be releasing on 23 June 2015 for PC, Mac, PS4 and Xbox One.
