Dhaka, Sep 18 (ANI): Activists opposing orthodox and fundamentalist Jamaat-e-Islami held a rally at Dhaka to welcome the Bangladesh Supreme Court's verdict sentencing Abdul Quader Mollah, one of the Jamaat's top leaders to the gallows for war crimes during the country's 1971 liberation war, overruling an earlier life sentence pronounced by a War Crimes Tribunal. The tribunal found Mollah, Assistant Secretary General of the Jamaat-e-Islami party, guilty of murder, rape and torture on February 05. Fazlur Rahman, a war veteran said that the protests would continue till all the war criminals are brought to book. Khushi Kabir, a social activist expressed her contentment over the quantum of punishment the court has pronounced for Mollah.
