Things don't seem to be going well for the makers of the longest-running fiction show, "Balika Vadhu." The show had recently got a new storyline along with some new faces. But now, of the four new actors included in the cast â€” Mahhi Vij (Nandini), Ruslaan Mumtaz (Krish), Avinash Sachdev (Amit) and Smriti Khanna (Vandana) — Smriti has already quit the show while Avinash is said to be on his way out.

Yes, according to the latest report, Avinash has decided to quit the show. The actor will wrap up the shoot in the next few days.

Confirming the report, Avinash told the Times of India: "Yes, true. I am quitting the show. I have two-three days shooting left after which I will be not a part of Balika Vadhu."

While the actor said that he had quit the show because his track was coming to an end, rumours had it that Avinash was unhappy with the way his character was shaping up. "There's no specific reason. I am quitting the show as my track is coming to an end," he added.

Smriti was said to have quit "Balika Vadhu" due to similar reasons. The "Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi" actress was apparently disappointed with the makers as the show had been focusing more on the lead actors Mahhi and Ruslaan. As Smriti's character didn't have much to offer, the actress apparently decided to exit the show.

"Balika Vadhu" recently made headlines when the show set a national record by being featured in the Limca Book of Records as the longest-running daily fiction soap. Over 2,000 episodes of the show have been telecast so far.
