Salman Khan starrer "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" took the box office by storm and became the second Bollywood film to cross Rs 300 crore domestic collection after Aamir Khan's "PK".

While Salman Khan has been appreciated by fans across the world, but the superstar is more happy about the record breaking footfalls than the box office success of "Bajrangi Bhaijaan".

"More than the collections, I am happy about the footfalls being that large. Everyone has unanimously come out saying it's an incredible film and so what makes me extremely happy is that our thinking on the film was bang on. India-Pakistan, Hindu-Muslim was just the backdrop, what is truly important is that our thinking matched with the thinking of our audience, proving that there is nothing better than humanity," Salman Khan told Times of India when asked to express his views on "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" crossing the Rs 300 crore mark.

It must be mentioned that there is a neck to neck fight between Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and Aamir Khan's "PK" and reports suggest that the former is likely to cross "PK" footfalls very soon. The movie, "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", crossed the Rs 300 crore mark at the domestic box office within just 20 days of its release.

Directed by Kabir Khan, the film also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Harshaali Malhotra in key roles.
