Pune-based two wheeler maker Bajaj Auto seems to be on a launching spree. Close on the heels of the launch of its new Adventure Sports Pulsar series bikes in the country; the company has now reportedly started sending invites for an event on 28 April.

Folks at Motoroids report that Bajaj Auto has sent invites to select media houses for the event.

But it remains to be seen as to what is likely to be announced or unveiled, though Bajaj Pulsar 150NS looks like a good guess. Bajaj Auto's invitation reads, "Showcase of New Age Pulsars", indicating that there will be more than one Pulsar in the list.

As usual, this time too Bajaj Auto has kept its yet-to-be-revealed products a secret. This seems to be helping the company to garner tremendous attention from all. The latest news about Bajaj Auto's event on 28 April correlates well to the previously-rumoured date for Pulsar 150NS. Besides this, Bajaj Auto is also expected to talk about its plans.

Although Pulsar 150NS is the most likely candidate for the 28 April event, it's unclear if the company will unveil something entirely new.

Pulsar 150NS, a model which will take on the likes of Suzuki Gixxer and Hero Xtreme will be powered by 149.5cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, which can dish out a power of 16.3bhp of power at 9,000rpm and a peak torque of 13Nm at 7,500rpm with 5-speed gearbox. Pulsar 150NS will measure 2,105mm in length, 800mm in width and 1,220mm in height and will have a fuel tank capacity of 12-litre.

Expected to be priced around ₹75,000, the new Pulsar 150NS will get telescopic upfront and monoshock unit at the rear.
