If recent reports on the web are to be believed, Bajaj's newly-launched adventurous Pulsar model, Pulsar AS 200, will see a price hike in India in the coming months.

A MotorOctane report, citing sources close to the matter, claimed that Bajaj is planning to increase the price of Pulsar AS 200, which is currently retailed at ₹91,550 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The price hike is likely to be in the range of ₹3,000-₹4,000.The report did not specify when it will be increased; however, it is sure that the price will be hike in near future.

Built around the perimeter frame, Pulsar AS200 measures 2,070 mm in length, 804 mm in width, 1,205 mm in height, and comes seated on a wheelbase of 1,363 mm.

Power comes from the 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which can churn out 23bhp of power at 9,500rpm and 18.3Nm of peak torque at 8,000rpm, coupled to six-speed transmission and gets telescopic up front and monoshock at rear.

As for features, Pulsar AS 200 has aerodynamic half-fairing, muscular tank, extended windscreen, and projector headlamp in its list.

Meanwhile, rumours indicate that Bajaj is getting ready to launch its Pulsar 150Ns in India by July, this year. Powered by 149.5cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine - which can dish out power of 16.3bhp of power at 9,000rpm and a peak torque of 13Nm at 7,500rpm with 5-speed gearbox - Pulsar 150NS will be pitted against Suzuki Gixxer and Hero Xtreme.
