Viewers of "Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant" may not be happy with the development, but Karan V Grover, who plays the lead role of Shaan, is quitting the show. The actor, who had been contemplating on taking the exit route for quite some time now, has apparently put in his papers and is serving his notice period.

Karan is said to have bagged a Bollywood film and will reportedly wrap up his track in the next couple of days. In fact, the makers have already started giving other actors an audition for the role.

A few months ago, rumours of Karan quitting the show had surfaced but the makers were said to have had convinced him to stay back as they feared the Television Rating Points (TRPs) would drop, since the show was fairly new then. "The makers were wary of him quitting the show last time as they feared that the ratings would slip. They made him revoke his decision. However, they seem to have come to terms with his decision this time around, and have already started auditioning actors to replace him," a source told the Times of India.

Karan has been determined to quit "Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant" and explore the big opportunity coming his way. While no confirmation has been made by the actor, if the report turns out to be true, ardent viewers of the show will surely miss Karan, whose on-screen chemistry with Rajni (played by Ridhima Pandit) turned out to be their favourite.

It remains to be seen if the actor who gets into the shoes of Karan will be able to justify the role of Shaan and live up to the viewers' expectations.

Meanwhile, Ridhima was in news recently when rumours of her throwing starry tantrums made headlines. Apparently, she is always late for the shoot and keeps the cast and crew members waiting for her on the sets for long hours. However, the actress refuted the rumours claiming that actors do get late some times owing to unavoidable circumstances.
