If its efforts to promote tourism in the famous tourist resort Dudh Pathri in Budgam district the tourism authorities have started a major infrastructure development drive to lure more and more tourists towards this forgotten destination. Transport Nagar, which has been developed by Jammu Development Authority for workshops and repairing of all kinds of vehicles, is facing an acute problem of broken roads. With enormous funding from the central govt. under various schemes to upgrade the infrastructure in many schools in the far flung areas of Kashmir valley a very little has been done so far.
