The Government of India has launched a scheme, MGNREGA that aims at enhancing the livelihood of people in rural areas. The construction of a new water filtration plant in Bumzoo area of Anantang district is in full swing. Although the state govt. is doing its best to upgrade the health infrastructure in rural areas but still a lot more needs to be done.
