Andi Dorfman, a former assistant district attorney who first appeared on Juan Pablo Galavis' season of "The Bachelor", is reportedly keen to join the upcoming edition of the ABC dating reality show.

Dorfman failed to find love with Galavis as well as Josh Murray, the winner of her season of "The Bachelorette" to whom she was briefly engaged. But she hasn't given up hope.

According to a new Celeb Dirty Laundry report, Dorfman could be pulling a Nick Viall and appearing late on the upcoming season of "The Bachelor", which will air in January 2016.

She has already contacted show host Chris Harrison and told him that she wants another shot at love, reported the media outlet, adding that Dorfman also believes that Higgins could be the perfect guy for her.

Dorfman's stint on "The Bachelor" 2016 is just a rumour at the moment as there has been no official comment.

Dorfman called it quits with her fiancé Murray almost eight months back, and she has been single since. Though the exact reason for their split remains to be revealed, Dorfman said in an earlier interview that Murray will always hold a special place in her life.

Currently, the 28-year-old is penning a tell-all regarding her stint on the ABC dating reality show, where she will also dish out on her breakup with Murray.

"It is basically a tongue-in-cheek diary of my breakup but it's also kind of like the anti-self-help book," she told People. "I went through a very public breakup but it was also extremely private."

"I didn't share a lot of stuff and I feel like we, as women, don't share a lot of bad emotions that are associated with breakups and this book kind of defies that," she said. "It's like, you know what? I did it. I did every good, bad, ugly, sad, crazy, psychotic thing that women do. I'm like, here it is – we all do it. I am proof that we all do it."
