Baba Siddique broke traditions for this year's Iftaar party on Salman Khan's request. Both men and women attended the elaborate bash, which was held at one of Mumbai's posh hotels on Sunday (June 19) evening.

It was attended by Bollywood's best, starting with Salman and family, Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Aditi Rao Hydari, Evelyn Sharma, Sonu Sood, Kabir Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar among others. Contrary to what was reported earlier, Salman stepped in with his father Salim Khan and not rumoured girlfriend Iulia Vantur.

The "Sultan" star was spotted bonding with ex-flame Katrina. They were seen discussing few-months-old Ahil, son of Arpita Khan Sharma (Salman's sister) and Ayush Sharma, Deccan Chronicle reported. This may have raised a few eyebrows, but Salman knows how to shut the gossip mongers up.

According to a SpotboyE report, soon after Salman left Baba's party, he took Iulia for dinner at Mumbai's Korner House. The two left the joint a little before midnight. It wasn't a date though as they were joined in by the actor's sisters Alvira Khan Agnihotri, Arpita and their respective husbands.

In other news, ex-couple Salman-Katrina meeting up shouldn't be surprising anymore, especially when they have made it clear that they will continue to be friends. Describing her equation with Salman, Katrina told the Indian Express earlier this year that what they have for each other is a lot of respect.

"In regards to Salman, what I believe in is that between us there is a lot of respect and I am sure you can see that. And for me, respect is a very important factor in any equation. The fact that there is respect says enough and there is no need to say anything more than that," she further elaborated.
