"Jaguar", the debut movie of former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy's son Nikhil Kumar, was launched on Wednesday, 16 December. It was a grand event held at Kanteerava Indoor Stadium, Bengaluru.
The most interesting part is that KV Vijayendra Prasad, the story writer of "Baahubali" and "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", the two biggest blockbusters of 2015 in India, has penned the story for "Jaguar". Hence, the expectations from the film have increased by manifold.
The launch function was held to coincide with HD Kumaraswamy's birthday. "Jaguar" event was graced by the who's who of Sandalwood and political leaders from JD(S). Politician and actor Ambareesh, Shivaraj Kumar, Ravichandran, Jayanthi, Bharathi, TN Seetharam, Ramakrishna, Jaggesh and many other stars were spotted at the muhurat function.
Former Prime Minister HD Devegowda tapped the clap for the first scene and his wife Chennama rolled the camera for the debut film of their grandson Nikhil Kumar.
The making-of-Nikhil-the-actor was also played for the guests and he impressed the audience through his energetic dancing and fighting skills. He has undergone rigorous training in stunts and dances as preparation for the flick.
It has to be noted that the hero has changed his name from Nikhil Gowda to Nikhil Kumar. The forthcoming Kannada movie is directed by Mahadev, has SS Thaman's music and Manoj Paramahamsa's cinematography.
