SS Rajamouli's latest offering, "Baahubali" (Bahubali), is on a record-smashing spree both at domestic and overseas box offices. The film has made a massive overseas opening collection after rocking domestic box office and breaking several records.

"Baahubali" made a whopping ₹50 crore on the opening day in India, becoming the highest ever opening collection (all versions) in the country, and it went on to collect ₹169 crore in just three days. Now, film critic and analyst Taran Adarsh has tweeted that the film has made a massive overseas opening weekend collection.

According to details provided by Taran Adarsh, opening weekend collection of "Baahubali" Telugu version in USA (including Thursday's previews) is ₹26.97 crore ($4,245,899), while that of the Tamil version is ₹1.45 crore ($228,315).

First weekend collection of "Baahubali" Telugu version stands at ₹32.46 lakh (£32,886) in the UK, and ₹51.68 lakh ($81,363) in Canada, while the Tamil version earned ₹16.91 lakh (A$35,849) in Australia, and ₹13.86 lakh ($21,824) in Canada.

So, weekend collections of "Baahubali" from the overseas box office stand at ₹29.57 crore.

The period drama featuring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj in the lead roles was made on a whopping ₹250 crore (approximately $40 million) budget, making it the most expensive film in Indian cinema. It was originally made in Telugu, but simultaneously shot in Tamil and dubbed in Hindi and Malayalam.
