Actor Adivi Sesh has offered his apology to Prabhas' fans for mentioning Power Star Pawan Kalyan's name at the grand audio launch of "Baahubali".

Adivi Sesh, who is playing an important role in "Baahubali", attended the music release of the movie held in Tiurpathi on 13 June. When anchor Suma called him on the stage and asked him about his role, the actor said, "My name is Badhra in 'Baahubali' and my role is of a yuvaraja (prince). I can share this much about my role as I am not allowed talk about it in detail."

Then, Adivi Sesh went on to talk about the beginning of his journey in Tollywood. He said, "When I was waiting to get a big role from Tollywood, I got a role in 'Panjaa'." Prabhas' fans objected to his speech. He added, "I would like to thank director Vishnuvardhan and producers Shobu Yarlagadda, Prasad Devineni, Neelima Tirumalasetty and Nagesh Muntha and hero Pawan Kalyan for giving me the opportunity."

"The release day of 'Panjaa' was the birthday of Prasad Devineni. For the first time, I met Rajamouli in person on the day. He shook my hand said, 'You are the best thing in the film'. That was the biggest highlight of my career. Later, Shobu told me that I needed to meet Rajamouli with regard to 'Baahubai'. When I met him, he was very serious and did not talk much. I left the place thinking that I had failed to get the role. Six month later, I got a call from Rajamouli and he said that I was cast for it."

But, Adivi Sesh mentioning Pawan Kalyan on the occasion did not go well with the fans of Prabhas, who expressed their disappointment on Twitter and Facebook. The actor responded to the fans' strong reaction on his Facebook page on Sunday afternoon and offered an apology for the same.

Adivi Sesh wrote, "Hi guys, was quite surprised to see some reactions to my speech. Meant no ill will. Have utmost love and respect for ‪#‎Prabhas and all his fans. #Prabhas was always the first guy on set to make sure I was OK. Anybody who knows me on the set of ‪#‎Baahubali knows how good he has been. Please know that both these huge actors that I have worked with have been full of grace and affection. Please don't misconstrue my words. I simply wanted to speak about my start in the industry and thank the people who gave me both movies. Wanted to extend my gratitude for it. Want to apologize to anyone who felt otherwise. It wasn't intended."
