Reports of Madhuri Dixit Nene being roped in for SS Rajamouli directorial "Baahubali 2" (Baahubali: The Conclusion) is false.

Earlier, there were rumours that Madhuri will play an important role in the second part as Anushka Shetty's elder sister. Anushka played the role of Maharani Devasena in "Baahubali-The Beginning".

However, when contacted, the director told DNA, "There is no Madhuri Dixit in 'Baahubali 2'."

Also, according to a source, there is no addition to the cast at all. "There are all kinds of rumours and speculations flitting around about the 'Baahubali' sequel. We don't know where the one involving Madhuri came from because there is no truth to it," DNA quoted the source as saying.

"Websites have even created the role of Anushka Shetty's sister for Madhuri in 'Baahubali 2'. But so far, there is no new addition to the cast at all," the insider further added.

The 'Dhak Dhak' actress made her comeback in Bollywood with "Aaja Nachle" in 2007 and in 2014 she had two releases â€" "Dedh Ishqiya" and "Gulaab Gang". But her films didn't do well at the box office.

Her presence in Rajamouli's flick would have proved a turning point in the actress' career graph. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a rumour.

Meanwhile, the director recently confirmed that he is planning a third instalment of the film too.

Rajamouli took to Twitter and said, "Many rumours on Baahubali-3..:) The story will conclude with part-2. No dragging..but the world of Baahubali will continue in a way that's Been never experienced before ever. Will reveal the details when appropriate. don't believe the rumours. Only I know what's going to come..:) (sic)."

Looking at the success of the first part, the audience is eagerly waiting for the sequel to be released, which is slated for late 2016.
