The Hindi version of SS Rajamouli's Baahubali 2 (Bahubali 2) has made brilliant collection at the domestic box office in two weeks. Its India collection has inched closer to the mark of Rs 550 crore in 14 days.

The Hindi version of Baahubali 2 collected Rs 247 crore nett at the Indian box office in its opening week. With no big-ticket Bollywood release, the Prabhas and Rana Daggubati starrer continued to keep the cash registers ringing at the ticket counters. The movie witnessed 100 percent occupancy in most of the cinema halls both in its second weekend as well as on weekdays.

Very few Bollywood movies cross Rs 100 crore mark in the domestic market in their lifetime. But the second week collection of this dubbed film is more than Rs 100 crore nett. The Hindi version of Baahubali 2 has collected Rs 143.25 crore nett at the domestic box office in its second week. Its 14-day Indian total collection stands at Rs 390.25 crore nett.

Leading film trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted: "#Baahubali2 [Wk 2] Fri 19.75 cr, Sat 26.50 cr, Sun 34.50 cr, Mon 16.75 cr, Tue 15.75 cr, Wed 17.25 cr, Thu 12.75 cr. Total: ₹ 390.25 cr Nett. He added: "#Baahubali2 Week 1: ₹ 247 cr Week 2: ₹ 143.25 Total: ₹ 390.25 cr NETT HINDI. India biz."

Aamir Khan's Dangal was the all time highest grossing Hindi film with its lifetime collection - Rs 387.38 crore nett. However, the Hindi version of Baahubali 2 has already beaten the record of Dangal and is now gearing to surpass the mark of Rs 400 crore nett, which no Hindi movie has crossed so far.

However, the gross collection of the Hindi version has now reached Rs 542.01 crore in the domestic market in 14 days. Its screen count has been reduced considerably by 15 new releases this week. Even if its collection drops 50 percent, Baahubali 2 would collect over Rs 60 crore at the domestic box office in its third week and surpass the mark of Rs 600 crore gross.
