Tiger Shroff is on cloud nine after the success of his second film "Baaghi." The actor, who is just two films old, has reportedly replaced Varun Dhawan in the third instalment of a commercially successful franchise.
If reports are true, then Tiger has been roped in to play the lead role in Remo D'Souza's directorial dance-packed movie "ABCD 3," which will be the third instalment in the "ABCD" series. Remo and Tiger are currently working on superhero film "A Flying Jatt" and it was during the shooting of the film the director approached him, according to Box Office Capsule.
"In February next year, I will start shooting 'ABCD 3', which we are trying to make even bigger than the last film, this time with 3D upgraded technology," the trade website quoted Remo as saying.
When asked about Tiger being cast in the lead role, the director did not confirm it, but he did not deny the news either. "Prabhu Deva and the rest of the cast will definitely be there and, right now, work on the script is under process. Tiger is definitely a good dancer but it's too early to talk about it," he added.
"ABCD" is a successful dance movie franchise. The instalment had dancers from reality shows and after the success of "ABCD," Remo came up with "ABCD 2." The second instalment film had Varun and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles and it went on to become one of the biggest releases of 2015. The film even crossed Rs. 100 crore at the domestic box office.
And with the third instalment, the director wants to make the franchise even bigger. There were reports that the makers are looking for bigger stars like Ranveer Singh, Shahid Kapoor or Sushant Singh Rajput. But there has been no official announcement about the lead star casts.
