Ayushmann Khurrana and Pallavi Sharda were spotted at the trailer launch of their upcoming film "Hawaizaada" on Tuesday in Mumbai.
The film, which also features Mithun Chakraborty, is based on the life of scientist Shivkar Bapuji Talpade who constructed India's first unmanned plane. Vibhu Puri's directorial is inspired by real life incidents and is scheduled to release on 30 January next year.
The idea of making such a film struck Puri while making the National Award winning short film "Chabiwali Pocket Watch". He completed the script in two years and titled it as "Bambai Fairytle" initially.
Referring to "Hawaizaada", Ayushmann has once said: "There are some films you do to satisfy your soul, not your stomach. Hawaizaada is one such film. I have given a year to the film; have given a part of myself, without expecting anything in return. I would have rather paid to do such a beautiful film," Hindustan Times quoted.
"Hawaizaada" as well as the actor was praised on Twitter:
