"Avengers: Infinity War" may be a long time away, but that doesn't stop us fans from speculating about what we can expect from our favourite Marvel superheroes, especially the Hulk.

Hulk, played by Mark Ruffallo, said goodbye to the Avengers gang after the war against Ultron. He desired to be left alone so that he could concentrate on being calm and not destroy everyone and everything around him by turning green.

We had speculated that Ruffallo might don his "man-cancelling" green suit again for the 2016 flick "Captain America: Civil War", but now it is known for sure that the big guy will neither fight for Team Captain America nor Team Iron Man. However, he will be brought back for the next ensemble "Avengers" movie "Infinity War".

"The reason [for Hulk's disappearance] is too great to be revealed in [Civil War]. I was in the script but then they removed my character. They don't want to reveal where is he and why. I don't even know if Hulk will be back soon," Moviepilot quoted Ruffallo as saying.

Adding to this, Feige had said that Hulk will be present in MCU Phase III, meaning he will be in future "Avengers" movies, save "Civil War". "I wouldn't say Hulk is absent from the timeline. I would say that Hulk is going to appear in many of those movies – particularly all of those Avengers movies leading up to 2019," Cinema Blend quoted Feige as saying.

Another character that said goodbye – hopefully temporarily – along with Hulk is Quicksilver, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson. Although he was killed off as opposed to Hulk's choice to leave, we know that death in MCUis not always permanent. For example, just look at Bucky Barnes, Agent Phil Coulson, Loki, Director Nick Fury, Groot, Jiaying and J.A.R.V.I.S.
