NEW DELHI -- French auto maker Renault has unveiled the new range of Kwid models on the first day of the 13the edition of Auto Expo in Delhi.
As Renault Kwid -- the fortune-changer of the company in the Indian market after its Duster SUV -- continues its success journey in the Indian market with over 1 lakh bookings, the company pulled the wraps off its new Kwid variants -- Kwid 1.0litre SCe, Kwid Eas-R AT, Kwid Climber and Kwid Racer.
Renault Kwid 1.0 SCe and Kwid Easy-R AT
The new 1000cc avatar of Kwid, the popular small car in the market will get 1.0litre DOHC smart control efficiency engine, which offers good drivability on the city roads and on the highway. On the other hand, the Kwid Easy-R AT, the AMT model of the Kwid now gets 5-speed Automated Manual Transmission (AMT).
The Climber variant of Kwid comes with short overhangs, high ground clearance, big bumpers and side protective mouldings, giving it the traits of an off-roader.
Kwid Racer, yet-another variant of the successful Kwid, houses 18-inch alloy wheels, low-profile tyres, honed aerodynamic, bucket seats and roll cage.
