Japanese auto major Honda revealed its plans for the upcoming Auto Expo 2014.

The company, which is looking to showcase a wide array of vehicles at the show, will also officially unveil its new crossover Honda Vision XS-1, based on the packaging technology of Honda.

Announcing its plans for the biennial extravaganza, the company said: "Honda Vision XS-1 is a study model of a new crossover model which features sporty styling and outstanding utility space based on Honda's unique packaging technologies."

The carmaker will also showcase its MPV segment vehicle Mobilio. The Mobilio, an opponent to cars like Maruti Ertiga, Chevrolet Enjoy and Mahindra Xylo, is expected to pack a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine under the hood, and is likely to be priced in the range of ₹5-6 lakh.

Besides all this, Honda's all-new 3rd generation Jazz, Accord Hybrid and the latest City will also make appearances at the Auto Expo. The Jazz will be marketed in India with 1.2 litre petrol and new 1.5 litre 'Earth Dreams' diesel engine options. Honda's two-wheeler wing Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Ltd will also showcase its new offerings at the event.

2014 Auto Expo will be held at Greater Noida from 6 to 12 February, and the extravaganza will see participation of automakers from all across the globe. Auto majors like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Volkswagen, Ford, Audi, Chevrolet, Nissan, BMW, Honda, Toyota, Jaguar Land Rover, Volvo and Mercedes-Benz are in the queue to strut their new vehicles.
