Hero Motocorp, India's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, is all set to debut a new line-up of motorcycles at the upcoming 2014 Auto Expo.

According to reports, 12 new models of Hero will join the pavilion at the event which will kick start in the country next month.

Revealing the roadmap of the company ahead of the Auto Expo, Hero MotoCorp Managing Director and CEO Pawan Munjal told PTI, "In the real sense, this will be the first time we will be participating at the Auto Expo with our own technology although we took part in the last expo independently after separation from Honda. Our display this time will give a clear picture of where this company is going, where we are headed."

The line-up will also include concept bikes and scooters. In 2012, Hero showed off its indigenously developed concept hybrid scooter - LEAP. The company also said that Geoff May and Aaron Yates, riders of Team Hero EBR in the Superbike World Championship, will be part of the 2014 Auto Expo show.

Earlier last week, Japanese auto major Honda announced its plans for the upcoming event. The carmaker will showcase its MPV segment vehicle Mobilio, Honda's all-new third generation Jazz, Accord Hybrid, the latest City and Honda's packaging technology-based new crossover Honda Vision XS-1. Reports suggest that Honda's 125cc automatic transmission scooter, Activa 125 automatic, will make its debut at the show.

The 2014 Auto Expo, which will be held in Greater Noida between 5 and 11 February, is expected to see the participation of automakers from across the globe. The event will be open to the press on 5-6 February and for the public on 7-11 February.
