German Luxury car maker Audi opened its new state-of-the-art showroom in Kozhikode, the company's second showroom in Kerala after Kochi.
Audi also announced the launch of its 'The next big Audi', Audi A3 Sedan in Kozhikode with a price tag of ₹23.54 lakh (ex-showroom Kozhikode). Audi A3, the cheapest offering of the luxury car maker in India and also the first car from the luxury maker to be produced locally before its launch in the country, is offered in both petrol and diesel engines in the country. The petrol model of A3 is powered by 1.8L turbo-charged inline four-cylinder engine, which can churn out 177 HP at 4,500 rpm and 250 Nm of torque and the diesel gets power from 2.0 L TDI engine that can generate 141 HP and 320 Nm of torque.
Located on N.H. 17, Calicut – Kannur highway, Audi Kozhikode showroom is spread over a total area of 15,300 square feet. The showroom displays honeycomb aluminum facade on the exterior with a display area that can accommodate 8 Audi cars and there is also an in-house Audi Shop to sell variety of Audi branded merchandise.

In addition to this, the Kozhikode showroom also has exclusive Audi service facility in the same premises. The workshop is spread over an area of about 10,000 square feet and can service upto 10 cars per day in a single shift on a total of 5 bays. The showroom will also be getting body and paint shop within 5 months.
Audi India currently sells Audi A3, Audi A4, Audi A6, Audi A7 Sportback, new Audi A8L, Audi Q3 S, Audi Q3, Audi Q5, Audi Q7, Audi S4, Audi S6, Audi RS 5 Coupé, Audi RS 7 Sportback, Audi TT Coupé, the super sports car Audi R8, Audi R8 Spyder and the Audi R8 V10 plus in India. At present, Audi has 35 showrooms in India and is planning to expand its dealer networks to 40 in India by the end of 2014.
