Director Atlee Kumar has married Krishna Priya on Sunday, 9 November, in Chennai. Their marriage was performed as per the Hindu customs.

The wedding has been attended by some of the big names in Kollywood. Producers AM Rathnam, Kalaipuli S Dhanu, director Shankar with his wife, Harris Jayaraj, actors Sivakarthikeyan, Nasser, cinematographer George C Williams, editor Ruben, GV Prakash with his singer wife Saindhavi, Nandha and many others were spotted at the wedding.
The duo have known each other for eight years. The couple had exchanged rings through an engagement ceremony on 7 September.
Atlee, who had worked as an associate to filmmaker Shankar, has become popular with his directorial debut "Raja Rani" starring Arya, Nayantara, Jai and Nazriya Nazim. Now, he is all set to direct Ilayathalapathy Vijay in his second directorial.
Meanwhile, Krishna Priya is seen on small-screen. She earned popularity with "Kana Kaanum Kaalangal" and dance reality show, "Jodi No 1".
