With Asus Zenfone 2, which comes in four models, all set to hit Indian stores in the next few days, prospective buyers looking for mid-range smartphone with price range around ₹20,000 could be placed in a strange situation of not knowing what handset to buy as there are hordes of them available in Indian market.
The Asus Zenfone 2 (ZE551ML) 4GB RAM model is a top-end device in the Zenfone 2 series and expected to come with price tag ranging from ₹13,000 to ₹20,000. The 64GB model is priced at TWD 9,990 (around ₹19,850, $320), which means it will have to compete with devices HTC Desire 820Q, Lenovo S90 Sisley, and Xiaomi Mi 4 as they are all priced around ₹20,000.
