Apart from the image, the twitter post does not reveal any specification details as such but rumour has it that Asus PadFone Mini will feature a 4.3-inch qHD (960x540p) display and ship with the dual-SIM slots, Android v4.3 Jelly Bean OS, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 series quad-core processor and 1GB RAM.

Asus' new PadFone Mini will come with a 7.0-inch tablet docking station, unlike its previous models which came with a bigger 10-inch pairing device.

Ever since Asus launched its first PadFone in 2012, the device has garnered attention from gadget enthusiasts for its innovative technology of physically pairing a smartphone with a tablet docking station. Padfone can be used a handset when people are on the go, and while at home resting, it can be paired with the companion device to use it as full-fledged tablet.

Now, with PadFone Mini geared for launch in 11 December in Taipei, Asus is set to make its flagship ambiguous-device series more portable.
