Assassin's Creed Unity is based during the French

Ubisoft's latest title from Assassin's Creed franchise, Assassin's Creed Unity, is all set to release in October this year for PC and next-generation consoles like PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. But the new game will be inclusive of many new changes when compared with its predecessor, Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag.

Assassin's Creed Unity will be taking the player to the days of the French Revolution during the days of the Reign of Terror and its aftermath. It will be an open world game with the third-person perspective. Players will be controlling Arno Dorian. Unity will be having a multiplayer story co-op mode where four players can take part in the story missions.

Alexandre Armancio, creative director at Ubisoft told Metro in an interview that the developer has concentrated more on the stealth gameplay in Unity. The report said there was no need for any sword-fights if players went the stealth way. It also adds that there were improvements to the game in fighting and its visuals were all stunning.

He explained stealth in the game as, "Stealth is all about control, and a strategic understanding of what's around you, so by upping that we're giving you more ways of playing stealth and making combat more challenging, so it's no longer the path of least resistance. And then we're giving you tools to disappear if all hell does break loose. A smoke bomb will now generate a real smoke wall and you can use that to vanish."

There will be impact of the hero element in the game. Even the hood makes players runt faster in the crowd.

He also spoke about the female avatar in the game, Elise. Not having a female character in the game had initially created controversy, but when she was revealed, the controversy died down. Armancio said "Elise has been there since... she's existed at least as long as Arno has existed." He also added that "We went with one protagonist and he happens to be a male protagonist in 18th century France."

Unity for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems are "highly detailed" has "excellent lighting" and it is silky smooth. The report went on to call the newest entry "most promising since Assassin's Creed 2."
