India fought hard, only to lose to hosts South Korea 3-1 in the women's Team Badminton.


A rampant India steamrolled Kazakhastan 80-61 in Group B of the men's Qualifiers.

Cycling (Track)

Amrit Singh and Amarjit Singh Nagi finished a disappointing 14th and 13th in men's Sprint Cycling (Track).


India lost 12-39 to China in the women's Group A Preliminary Round game.


India women beat Thailand 3-0 with the help of a brace from Poonam Rani, in their Pool A encounter.


India's Rajwinder Kaur lost to Nagira Sarbashova of Kyrgyzstan in the women's +78kg Final Repechage.


Indian women's 25m Pistol team shot down a bronze for their country. Meanwhile, India's women's team for the 10m Air Rifle event finished at a disappointing sixth spot, after doing well in the qualifying rounds.


India took sixth spot in the 4x200m men's Relay final.


Saurav Ghosal beat Malaysian Ong Beng Hee to assure himself a silver medal at least in the men's Singles category. Meanwhile, Dipika Pallikal, who was already assured of a bronze medal, lost to world no.1 Nicol David of Malaysia.


Indian women were beaten 2-1 by Kazakhastan in the women's Team quarterfinals.


India lost in straingt games to Japan, in the Group A women's First Round match.
Final score: 25-6, 25-11, 25-12 in favour of Japan.


Narender Grewal has assured himself a bronze medal at least, by beating Pakistan's Abdullah, to go into the semifinals of the men's 60kg category.
