A horrifying image of three-year-old Aylan Kurdi, the Syrian toddler who washed up on a Turkish shore, shook the world on Wednesday. Now, artists from across the world have paid tribute to the Syrian boy through some heartbreaking cartoons.
Kurdi, along with his family, were among the refugees from Syria who were trying to migrate to Greece for a safe home. However, only his father Abdullah survived as Kurdi, his five-year-old brother Galip and their mother Rehan drowned.
Soon after the heartbreaking pictures of Kurdi in a red shirt, blue bottoms and velcro-strap shoes were released by a Turkish news agency, the photos went viral on social media.
