Jay-Z to launch book with Gucci
Jay-Z and Gucci fashion house have come up with a leather bomber jacket to release his book 'Decoded' in a unique way. An interactive game with the Microsoft search engine Bing has been created to enable people to unlock clues to preview pages of the book.
According to fibre2fashion.com the Bing game helps people to unravel and decode the 36 songs in the book with clues leading to locations where Jay-Z found inspiration to write the songs. The places can be Gucci stores or somewhere in New York, London Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Clues are also available on Jay-Z's twitter and facebook pages.
One of Gucci's stores in New York revealed a page of the book in its 5th Avenue flagship store. The display was on the leather jacket that Gucci creative director, Frida Giannini has developed as part of the unique advertising campaign. The jacket is not for purchase and will be gifted to Jay-z once the book is released on November 16. The fans who unravel the clues will be gifted the page signed by Jay-Z after a draw.
