Actress Nina Dobrev was recently spotted unwinding at the Coachella Music Festival, post the wrap of "The Vampire Dairies" Season 5. Last week the popular fiction series wrapped its fifth season and Dobrev went ahead to relax amidst some soulful music in the desert.
"And that's a wrap on Season 5! Wow. Half a decade... Leaving Mystic Falls and heading to sunshine&musical heaven. #tvd #coachella," she tweeted on Friday (April 11).
Apparently, the music festival is really close to Dobrev's heart as back in 2012 she was seen stealing an intimate moment with then boyfriend Ian Somerhalder at this very venue. The ex-couple was seen sharing a passionate kiss. Dobrev and Somerhalder were in a four-year-long relationship until they recently called it quits. The couple is still seen making fun of each other at public events and are said to have maintained cordial and friendly terms.
However, this time Dobrev arrived at the Palm Springs musical offering sans Somerhalder. She was seen hanging out with BFF Julianne Hough and MTV presenter Laura Whitmore.
Yesterday she took to Twitter to express her feeling while enjoying her time at the festival.
"Life isn't measured in the amount of times we breathe, but the moments that take our breathe a away, " she tweeted.
This year Coachella festival is being attended by likes of Katy Perry, Robert Pattinson, Hilary Duff, Beyonce, Lorde, Sienna Miller and many more.
Meanwhile, Dobrev recently made headlines for her alleged romance with "The Vampire Dairies" co-star Michael Trevino. The duo sparked dating rumors when Dobrev shared a picture of them at a night game of bowling.
