Buoyed by the huge reception to Moto G (via Flipkart) in India, network carrier, Reliance Communication has begun selling the popular feature-rich Motorola mid-range smartphone.

Reliance Communication subscribers' can purchase Moto G with zero down payment EMI option (₹1205/month) or buy the device upfront by paying full amount ₹13,490. As of now, the company is offering only the 8GB model, and there is no official word on whether there is any plan to bring the 16GB model too. In zero down payment plan, users can avail unlimited STD & local calls, 3000 SMSs, free data & roaming charges for selected period, says the company.

RCom's Moto G is a SIM-less CDMA model and sports 4.5-inch HD (1280x720p) display with pixel density of 329 ppi (pixels per inch). It runs on the Android v4.4 KitKat OS powered by 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 series CPU with 1GB RAM and 8GB inbuilt storage (no microSD card slot).

Other stipulated specifications include 5.0-megapixel main camera (with LED flash), 1.3-megapixel snapper on the front, 2,070 mAh battery and boasts of standard connectivity features such as 3G network support, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth v4.0, USB, and GPS for navigation.

Last week, official Motorola retail partner, Flipkart kick-started the smartphone-exchange offer on Moto G, giving discount close to ₹2000 on the MRP of the phone (on both 8GB & 16GB models). [For more information, click here]
