Mahesh Babu's "Aagadu" First Look in May

Mahesh Babu's "Aagadu" first look is likely to be released on 31 May, on the occasion of actor Krishna's (Mahesh's father) birthday.

It has become a tradition for Mahesh Babu to have a first look or audio launch or trailer release on the eve of his father's birthday. Last year, the first look poster of Mahesh's "1 Nenokkadine" was unveiled on the special occasion.

This year too, the makers of "Aagadu" are planning to release the film's first look on his birthday, which happens to be on 31 March.

Directed by Sreenu Vaitla, "Aagadu" is one of the most-awaited films of 2014. Mahesh Babu will reportedly appear in the role of a police officer. Tamannaah is playing the female lead for the first time opposite Mahesh.

The shooting for the action entertainer is going on at a brisk pace and the film is expected to hit the screens in the second half of the year.

"Legend" Gets Muhurtam

Nandamuri Balakrishna's "Legend" is all set to hit the screens on 28 March. Just like for the audio launch, the makers of "Legend" have fixed a muhurtam to screen the film in theatres. Accordingly, the action entertainer will have a massive release on 28 March at 10:34 a.m.

Directed by Boyapati Sreenu, "Legend" will have Sonal Chauhan and Radhika Apte as the female leads. Actor Jagapathi Babu will be appearing in the role of the villain for the first time in the film.

Expectations are high for the Balakrishna starrer as the actor is teaming up with director Boyapati Sreenu for the second time post the success of "Simha."

Sreenu Vaitla to Work with Ram Charan

Director Sreenu Vaitla is all set to team up with Ram Charan for a new film. Sources close to the director have informed Times of India that the director narrated a storyline to Ram Charan and the actor has given his consent for the same.

The new project will reportedly take off after Sreenu completes "Aagadu," which stars Mahesh Babu in the lead role. The film is touted to be a stylish, action entertainer with loads of comedy. An official announcement about the project is still awaited.

"Bhadram" Gets Good Response

"Bhadram," the Telugu dubbed version of Tamil film "Thegidi," has received good response from the audience.

The Telugu version, which hit the screens on 21 March, fetched positive reviews from critics as well as from the viewers. The film is doing well in A centres and multiplexes, reported 123telugu.

It is expected to continue its good run for another few days until Balakrishna's "Legend" hits the screens.

Varun Tej's Debut Film Shooting Begins

The shooting of Varun Tej's debut film commenced on Monday (24 March) in Cochin, Kerala.

Directed by Srikanth Addala, the untitled flick will have Pooja Hegde as the female lead. The film, touted to be a youthful romantic entertainer, is being produced by Nallamalapu Bujji and Tagore Madhu.

The untitled flick will have music by Mickey J Meyer and Manikandan is the cinematographer.
