The funeral of Juhi Chawla's brother Bobby, better known as Sanjeev Chawla took place on Sunday evening in Mumbai. The last rites were performed by Chawla's wife Anuradha at Malabar Hill's Banganga Tank around 5 pm, according to The Times of India.
Chawla died at around 7 am on Sunday at Jaslok Hospital in Mumbai. The actor's brother was in coma since four years after he suffered a massive stroke while having dinner at a restaurant.
His sister Juhi Chawla, brother-in-law Jay Mehta and other family members paid their last respect.
Several B-town celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone also attended the funeral on Sunday.
SRK and Padukone were in Chennai to attend the audio launch of superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming film "Kochadaiiyaan." After attending the event in the morning, the "Chennai Express" lead pair flew back to Mumbai to attend Chawla's funeral.
Chawla was the CEO of SRK's Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt Ltd before being replaced by Venky Mysore.
Filmakers Farah Khan and Anubhav Sinha, actress Madhoo, her husband Anand Shah, Sujoy Ghosh, Vivek Sharma, Aadesh Srivastav and designer-politician Shaina NC among others were also present at the funeral.
Juhi took to Twitter to announce the death of her brother on Sunday. SRK, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Farah Khan and others also offered their condolences for Bobby.
