It's time for Call of Duty: Ghosts' fans to brace up for yet another downloadable content (DLC), Captain Price that was teased by the developer, Infinity Ward, which  tweeted a picture of a bearded soldier holding a gun (possible variant of the M4A1 Carbine). The image bears a caption that reads, "Brace Yourselves - Price Is Coming."

Captain John Price, is a well-known character in the Call of Duty series since the first game by the franchise. He was present in Call of Duty, Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and the final mission of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. He is a soldier and English gentleman. There are three characters that appear throughout the season namely John "Soap" MacTavish, Nikolai and the third one being Price.

There is no clarity of how he will return, as there are reports that he might make a comeback as a multiplayer skin similar to Simon "Ghost" Riley. Fans of the game have to stay tuned for more revelations on Captain Price by Infinity Ward.

True Next-Gen Release by Sledgehammer Revealed

The Call of Duty: Ghosts that was released in 2013 was not a true next-generation (next-gen) video game, despite the sharper visuals. Hence,  publisher Activision has now made it known to fans that there is a real next-gen that will be developed by Sledgehammer this year, slated for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Eric Hirshberg, CEO at Activision confirmed to IGN that Sledgehammer Games is developing it as "next-gen first." The confirmation comes after the hardware for both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One has been made available in markets. The new game unlike the 2013's Ghosts can completely use the new hardware to its advantage.

With Activision announcing that Call of Duty will go through the three-year development cycle, it gives freedom to developers of the game to innovate and learn the hardware and bring in the best iterations possible.

Pete Dodd, an industry insider, posted on NeoGAF forums that, "Internally people are excited for it. It is supposedly a pretty big jump over ghosts graphically."
