Intex Launches Affordable Android Smartphones Aqua N8, Cloud X12 in India; Price and Specifications Details

New Delhi-based electronics firm Intex Technologies has launched two budget smartphones - Aqua N8 and Cloud X12 - in India, via online stores.

N8, the new Aqua series handset, flaunts a 4.5-inch FWGA (854x480p) display and runs on Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS, powered by a 1.3Ghz quad-core CPU with 512MB RAM and 4GB inbuilt memory (expandable up to 32GB).

Other stipulated specifications include an 8.0-megapixel camera (with auto-focus and flash support), 2 megapixel snapper on the front and 1750 mAh, which can provide fivehours of talk time, and up to 220 hours of standby mode.

Cloud X12, on the other hand, is a budget phone with sub-par features. It sports a smaller display (3.5-inch) with 480x230p resolutions and ships with Android v4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS, 1GHz processor, 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM (expandable up to 32GB), 2.0-megapixel primary camera, a front-facing VGA camera for video chat and 1200 mAh battery.

Both Aqua N8 and Cloud X12 have been made available at e-commerce website e-Bay for ₹8,990 and ₹4,290 respectively.

Last week, the company had released the country's first indigenous curved-display phone Aqua Curve. It boasts a 5.0-inch qHD 960x540p) curved screen with OGS (One Glass Solution) technology and housed a quad-core CPU run by Android v4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. [To know more, click here]
