The audio launch of debutant Sai Dharam Tej's upcoming film "Rey" is all set to happen on 17 January at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad.

The film's cast and crew members including Sai Dharam Tej, director YVS Chowdary and music composer Chakri will be attending the event. Earlier, reports had emerged that Pawan Kalyan will be the chief guest for the event but later Allu Arjun's name popped up. Now, it has been confirmed that Pawan will show up for the event and launch the audio.

"It's going to be unveiled by a person who has been the real inspiration, the true guiding force behind our project and without whom this film would have not been possible...it's none other than 'Power Star' 'PAWAN  KALYAN'. He's going to unveil our film's prestigious Audio (through Aditya Music)," YVS Chowdary told Gulte.

The audio launch event was slated to take place on 5 January. Apparently, YVS Chowdary re-scheduled the music release for another date on "Mega" fans' request who wanted to celebrate "Attarintiki Daredi" 100-day theatrical run.

Finally, "Rey" audio will be released tomorrow (17 January). The film will mark the entry of another "Mega" family member, Sai Dharam Tej, into the Telugu film industry. The actor is the nephew of Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan.

"Rey" has been lying in the cans for over three years as the film faced financial constraints. Apparently, the issues have been solved and the film is gearing up for a big release in February. The film, deemed as a musical love story, is produced by YVS Chowdary.

The trailer of the film, which was recently launched, has already generated a lot of buzz among "Mega" fans. Sai Dharam Tej's dancing skills have been much appreciated. The actor will reportedly play a dancer based in Jamaica. Actors Saiyami Kher and Shraddha Das will play the female leads
