2014's much anticipated smartphone Galaxy S5 from Samsung is reportedly making its debut in couple of month's time.

Italian based free-lance journalist, Flavio citing his trusted informer has revealed that Samsung is almost certain to host a global launch event at London for Galaxy S5 around Mid-March.

"Samsung to hold its next Global launch (S5?) event in London in a mid March date, a reliable source confirmed me," he tweeted.

Earlier reports had pointed that Samsung might use MWC(Mobile World Congress) 2014 in February as a launch pad to unveil Galaxy S5, but the recent revelation from Flavio seem more believable as the South Korean company has built up a reputation to hold a private event since the launch of Galaxy S3 in 2012.

Last year, the company started a creative launch event series "Samsung Unpacked 2013." In the first episode of the series, the firm held a glitzy event at New York City to launch Galaxy S4 in March and in the following episode 2, Samsung pulled the wraps off the Galaxy Note 3 with flagship smartwatch Galaxy Gear at Berlin in September.

If we go by the history of Samsung, one can expect the company to pull off another series of Samsung Unpacked 2014 event this year as well.
