South Korean tech giant Samsung has announced the much-awaited high-end tablets Galaxy TabPRO and NotePRO at the International CES (Consumer Electronics Show) 2014.
CEO and President of IT & Mobile Division, Samsung Electronics, JK Shin said: "We created the Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO series to kick-off a year in which Samsung truly establishes its leadership in the tablet market."

The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO truly demonstrate our commitment to providing our customers with extraordinarily versatile product offerings, tailored to tablet users of every description," he added.
The company's new TabPRO series include three models with varying screen sizes: 8.4-inch, 10.1-inch and 12.2-inch. They all boast similar specifications sans the display and battery capacity. They sport WQXGA (2560x1600p) super clear LCD screen, Android v4.4 KitKat OS, 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 series CPU (LTE)/ Exynos 5 Octa-core processor - 1.9 GHz quad-core＋1.3 GHz quad-core (Wi-Fi/3G model), 2GB (3GB for 12.2-inch model) RAM, 16/32GB with expandable options (12.2-inch model - 32GB/ 64GB), 8.0-megapixel main camera with Auto-focus and LED flash and a 2.0-megapixel snapper on the front.
On the other hand, Galaxy NotePRO 12.1 is pretty much identical to the Galaxy TabPRO 12.2, in terms of body design and internal hardware; the only notable difference is that the former comes with value-added S- Pen stylus functionality like Action Memo, Scrapbook, Screen Write and S Finder and Pen Window, which enables users to create a window of any size on the screen and get access to the unique in-application features like YouTube or a calculator.
Samsung says the new Galaxy TabPRO and NotePRO range of tablets would be released in Q1, 2014. However, the company is tight-lipped about the devices' price details.
