Specifications of HTC One (2014) aka M8 have been leaked just ahead of the rumoured launch next month.

Popular twitter spy, Evleaks has revealed the key features of the upcoming HTC One (2014) aka M8. The phone reportedly boasts of 5.0-inch full HD (1920x1080p) display, Android v4.4 KitKat with custom UI Sense v6.0, Snapdragon MSM8974 (800 series) chipset, 2GB RAM, Ultra-pixel camera on the rear side, 2.1-megapixel front camera and Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac).

Even though the leaked details of HTC One (2014) are in line with previously rumoured reports, evleaks in its tweet suggests that this information is 'preliminary' implying that there is a possibility of change in specifications when the phone officially makes its debut.

Evleaks' apprehension is understandable since the revealed features of HTC One (2014) are more of incremental than breakthrough. Like HTC, many smartphone makers too seem to have reached a plateau, saturation in innovation. This is especially crucial for HTC who despite making the best android smartphone of year in 2013 suffered operational loss. Many believe HTC One (2014) aka M8 may make or break company's fortune this year.
