The list of worries for Battlefield 4 keeps on increasing, despite various attempts to fix the issues.

Now, it is being learnt that there will be a delay in the release of AMD's Mantle patch. The patch was expected to be released in late December. However, it is now learnt that it will roll out only in late January.

The Mantle patch is an API that was designed to improve the visuals of the game, as well as the efficient production of those visuals.

"After much consideration, the decision was made to delay the Mantle patch for Battlefield 4. AMD continues to support DICE on the public introduction of Mantle, and we are tremendously excited about the coming release for Battlefield 4! We are now targeting a January release and will have more information to share in the New Year," said an AMD representative to Polygon.

"The cause of the delay is due to EA's recent decision to halt game development in favor of bug stomping," another AMD representative added,

Battlefield 4 still has problems with servers, DLCs etc.

EA asks fans for feedback on Battlefield 4

EA has asked players for feedback on its bugged FPS video game Battlefield 4. A survey has been mailed to all active EA account holders, who have played or are still playing the game, though there is no clarification whether only PlayStation 4 users got the emails, reported Attack of the Fanboy.

The survey consists only one question: "How likely are you to recommend Battlefield 4?" There is a option of 11 buttons starting with 0 meaning 'not likely' to 'extremely likely' for surveyors to fill in. Later, it also asks fans what the company could do to improve the rating of Battlefield 4.
