After several delays, "Yevadu" is finally all set to hit the screens on 12 January, as a Sankranti festival treat for fans. The official theatrical trailer of "Yevadu" will release on 3 January. The trailer will be released at an event held in Sandhya Theatre, Hyderabad at 5 pm.

With the film's release date nearing, the makers of "Yevadu" are leaving no stone unturned to promote the film. The Ram Charan starrer is all set to clash with Mahesh Babu's "1 Nenokkadine", which is set to hit the screens on 10 January.

For the next two weeks, there is going to be a battle of sorts between "Yevadu" and "1 Nenokkadine" to promote the films. Both films are among the most-awaited Telugu projects of 2014 as they both feature two superstars of Telugu cinema in lead roles.

"Yevadu" shooting was completed long ago and the post-production was also done. The film's censor formalities have been completed and it has received an "A" certificate from the censor board.

The film, touted to be a revenge drama, is directed by Vamsi Paidipally of "Brindavanam" fame. The action entertainer has Shruti Haasan playing the female lead. Other cast members include Amy Jackson, Sai Kumar, Rahul Dev, Jayasudha and Brahmanandam. Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggarwal will be seen in cameos.

"Yevadu" is gearing up for a big release on 12 January. The film will release in almost equal number of screens as "1 Nenokkadine." According to Andhraboxoffice, "Yevadu" will have more number of screens than "1 Nenokkadine" in Ceeded, Karnataka, Krishna and Nellore areas from 12 January. And though the Mahesh Babu starrer will release in more number of screens in a few other markets, the total number of screens will be slightly higher for "Yevadu" than "1 Nenokkadine".
