The film is going steady in Karnataka while the other two Tamil films - "All in All Azhaguraja" and "Pandiya Nadu" - have failed to make an impact in the state. "Arrambam" needs to continue its good run to achieve a "hit" status in the state, reported AndhraBoxOffice.

The Telugu dubbed version of "Arrambam", which was expected to release simultaneously with the Tamil version, is likely to release on 29 November in Andhra Pradesh.

Ever since "Arrambam" went on floors, the buzz surrounding the film doesn't seem to stop. Speculations are rife that the Ajith starrer might be remade in Hindi. Remaking south films is the current trend in Bollywood. Several Bollywood stars have worked in remakes of southern films, which have been successful among the Hindi audience as well.

Buzz is that actor Akshay Kumar is keen on getting the remake rights of "Arrambam", reported The Times of India. The daily says that Akshay was impressed with the Tamil film and has reportedly approached the makers to bag the remake rights. However, there is no official confirmation on the same.

Akshay has already done a few south remakes including "Rowdy Rathore" and "Boss." He is currently working in the Hindi remake of Tamil film "Thuppakki", directed by AR Murugadoss.
