Bollywood film "Krrish 3" has shattered another record at the domestic box office by earning more than ₹150 crore in six days of its release.

The science fiction flick starring Hrithik Roshan in the lead has become the fastest film to cross the ₹150-crore mark, breaking the record of "Chennai Express". "Krrish 3" has also shattered the first week collections record of the Shah Rukh Khan starrer. [Read the report here]

"Chennai Express" took one week to cross that figure, while "Krrish 3" did it in just six days.

"#Krrish3 crosses ₹150 cr mark in India. Wed: ₹18.11 cr. Total: ₹152.98 cr. Inclusive of Hindi + Tamil + Telugu versions FABULOUS," trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

The film's first weekday collections on Monday were the highest single day earnings ever registered. The collections declined the next day but the film still managed to rake in more than ₹26 crore. On Wednesday, the collections dropped further raking in less than ₹20 crore.

The six-day breakup of the film is: Friday ₹25.5 crore, Saturday ₹23 crore, Sunday ₹24.3 crore, Monday ₹35.91 crore, Tuesday ₹26.26 crore and Wednesday ₹18.11 crore.

"Krrish 3" has now become the third highest grosser film of the year after "Chennai Express" and "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani".

The superhero film directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan is racing towards the ₹200-crore mark. If the film continues to run at its current pace, it may cross ₹200 crore by the second weekend as no big films are due for release on Friday (8 November).

Ram Gopal Varma's "Satya 2" is releasing on Friday. Since it belongs to a different genre, its opening wouldn't affect "Krrish 3" collections much.

Apart from Hrithik, the superhero film also features Priyanka Chopra, Vivek Oberoi and Kangana Ranaut. "Krrish 3" is Vivek Oberoi's second film of the year that has crossed ₹100 crore. But for Hrithik, Priyanka and Kangana, it is their first to hit the century mark.
