Just a few days after ending the exciting One Day International (ODI) series against Australia, India is set to begin another memorable Test series against West Indies, which the media dubbed "Sachin Tendulkar Series".

West Indies tour of India is special for the simple reason that cricketing maestro Sachin Tendulkar will retire from all forms of cricket after playing his 200th Test against in the series.

The 40-year-old batting maestro, who has scored 15, 837 runs from 198 Test matches, will play in the two-match Test series against West Indies before ending an illustrious career. He retired from ODI in 2012 and played his last Twenty20 match in the recently concluded Champions League T20 final which his team - Mumbai Indians - won.

The Little Master has broken many records, including the highest run-getter in both Tests and ODIs, 100 international hundreds (51 Tests centuries and 49 ODI), first man to hit a double hundred in ODI and several others during his illustrious career spanning two decades.

The first Test match will start on Wednesday (6 November) and the second Test will begin on 14 November. The teams will also play three ODIs in the series.
