Samsung has been under constant spotlight in the past few days due to its flagship smartphone released around the globe. The Korean tech firm was successfully able to release Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the much awaited Samsung Galaxy Round smartphone, which is the first device to carry a curved screen.

After putting the unimaginable innovations such as air gesture and curved screen in the bar-type smartphone, the firm is now said to be working on flip-phones, which is now used in very less numbers worldwide.

Some of the documents submitted to a Chinese regulator Tenna, details the smartphone codenamed SM-W2014, which is said to be a flip-phone. Some of the specifications stated in the document include:

-Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU

-2GB RAM

-Dual 3.7in Super AMOLED touchscreens with 800x480 resolution

-13 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front camera

-Android 4.3 Jelly Bean

If the specifications of the smartphone turn out to be true, it might surpass the recently launched Samsung Hennessey and Samsung Golden smartphones in the Chinese market.

Samsung Hennessey is said to sport a 3.3in 320x480 displays along with a 1.2GHz quad-core processor whereas Samsung Golden arrives with a dual-core processor along with 8 megapixel camera, reports Techradar.

In related news, a list of specifications of the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Round with flexible screen, have been found to match those of Samsung's flagship Phablet, Galaxy Note 3.

On comparing the two models, it has been understood that the camera sensor size, display technology, RAM and other specs are the same. The comparison details can be seen here.

Samsung Galaxy Round has been released in limited numbers in Korea only. Not much is known about the features of the smartphone, however, one of the features called as the "Roll Effect" is shown in a video.
