Pawan Kalyan's "Attarintiki Daredi" is still performing well after 12 days of its release at the overseas box office.

"Attarintiki Daredi", which embarked on an impressive start in the US, has earned a whopping ₹15.54 crore (including non-reported figures) after the second weekend.

"#AttarintikiDaredi *after Wknd 2* Reported total: $ 18,22,116 [₹11.23 cr]. Total including non-reported: $ 25,22,116 [Rs 15.54 cr]. WOW!," film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.

The Pawan Kalyan starrer has fared better than other Indian films released in the US between 27 September and 4 October. In particular, the film has outperformed Ranbir Kapoor's "Besharam", which has been declared an epic disaster.

"Besharam", which was released on 2 October, minted ₹3.11 crore ($5,04,000) in its debut weekend (2-6 October) at the US box office. But, "Attarintiki Daredi" fetched over ₹10 crore (including reported screens and non-Rentrack screens) in its debut weekend, smashing all records set by other Telugu films. The film has also grossed better collections than Tamil releases "Raja Rani" and "Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara". Its total worldwide box office figures are pegged at over ₹55 crore.

The huge success of "Attarintiki Daredi" has not just surprised the Telugu industry; even Bollywood filmmakers are talking about it. Speculations are rife that some filmmakers are planning to approach Pawan for a Hindi-Telugu bilingual film.

"Bollywood filmmakers are surprised to see Pawan's star power and are want to cash in on his craze. As such, they're planning to initiate talks with the actor soon," a source told The Times of India.

If the reports turn out to be true, then we might get to see Pawan making his Bollywood debut. It may be recalled that his nephew (actor Ram Charan) made his Hindi debut with the bilingual film "Zanjeer" ("Thoofan" in Telugu). Both versions failed to set the cash registers ringing at the box office.
