Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan certainly knows how to be in the limelight. Although the actress has taken a sabbatical from films, she is making her presence felt in film festivals, award shows and advertisement campaigns.
Recently, Aishwarya donned a unique mermaid style dress for the new advertisement campaign "Bangle Utsav" for Kalyan Jewellers, at their Tamil Nadu and Karnataka showrooms. The 39-year-old actress looked like a golden goddess in a new photo-shoot for the print advertisement of the South-Indian jewellery group, which she has been endorsing.
The advertisement featured a drastically slimmed down Aishwarya in a mermaid style gown created from gold bangles.
Aishwarya is wearing the bangles differently, highlighting the campaign's slogan: "Enough of bangles. Wear them the way you want." The gown has several layers at the bottom with gold bangles all over.
The green-eyed beauty, along with her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan, has been endorsing the jewellery brand since 2012.
Aishwarya replaced arch rival Sushmita Sen as the new face of the jewellery group. The former Miss World is said to have bagged a ₹10 crore endorsement deal for two years.
The actress along with her 19-month-old daughter, Aaradhya, recently visited Surat, Gujarat, to inaugurate a bigger and more accessible showroom in Surat. [Read the report here]
