Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has become the brand ambassador of realty developer Lodha Group. After endorsing a jewelry group, watch brand and cosmetics company among others, the Bollywood actress and former Miss World will now be the new face of a realty group.

The 39-year-old actress attended the launch of the Lodha Builder's new project 'The Park' in central Mumbai's Worli. The actress was again seen in her favourite colour - black.

Aishwarya looked stunning and slimmer in a ruffled one-shouldered, full-length black gown with cascading curls and dark eye make-up.  

"It's been an absolute pleasure for me to come on board with the Lodha group on such an incredible project like 'The Park'. It gives me absolute pride in this new association and I am really really looking forward to the experience of this great gift that Lodha group is giving to wonderful city," Aishwarya said at the event.

When asked whether she will be investing in the project, the actress said "Yes, I will also be investing in 'The Park'.

Apparently, the brand ambassador has also brought a four-bedroom apartment in the premium project which is worth more than 5 crore, according to Economic Times.

The 39-year-old actress was also asked about her comeback plans on the silver screen. After the birth of her daughter, Aaradhya, in 2011, she stepped away from the limelight and became involved full-time in her motherhood duties.

However, the actress recently said she is reading scripts and will finalise on an offer soon.

"Yes I am reading scripts and work is getting finalised, but director and producers to make the final announcements. Like I said we should leave to the respected people to make the announcements, if there are any. Yes we have been in talks, but the conclusion and consequence of it, when we arrive at it there will be announcement," she said.
